Episode 133 – Knife and Tool Sharpening

This episode is an interview with Matt Czosnek who is a listener of Today’s Survival Show. He’s also a blacksmith and a knife and tool sharpener. I thought I knew a lot about knife sharpening until this interview. Matt made me realize how much I don’t know and that’s why I really like bringing people like him on this show to do a quick talk. We discuss what oil to use when sharpening blades, what angle, what type of knife metals are hard to sharpen and what makes a good survival knife. We also discuss blacksmithing. He does some blacksmithing on the side and I think you’ll find that interesting too. During the interview, I discovered that Matt and his family are also pretty keen on eating and staying healthy so you’ll hear about that too. Please remember to join our forum and also remember that version 2 of my “Survival Champion’s Club” exclusive podcast is set to release on March 15th. Only 250 copies will be sold, reserve yours today. There’s a link at the top of this page. Matt is one of my guests on that podcast too. Thanks for downloading and listening.

Thanks for the great podcast. The methods he uses in sharpening and blacksmith can be traced back during medieval times and very useful at this time.
