I need an inexpensive rod for fishing in Colorado, lakes and streams.  I have not fished in maybe 30 years.

Any recommendations?

Cheers

I picked up my rod at a local sporting goods store for about $30, new Shakespeare Ugly Stick.  But I was told to check out yard sales and Goodwill stores as you can find things for excellent prices.

Thank you.  We have a Walmart here.  I will have to wait for some yard sales to get one really cheap.
