Firearms are definitely a survival tool. Not the only tool you need, but when TSHTF they will be necessary at some point to defend yourself and your family. But what about hunting? Chip Monk of the Chip Monk Family Survival Podcast joins me for a real informative interview, I think you’ll enjoy it. We talk about SKS’s, .22lr’s, double barrel shotguns and a lot more. Great show !

We discovered his show last month, The ONE ( an in my opinion ) only great thing about the judge revolver is:

FINALLY 410 in buckshot is readily available ( although still pricey ).

The fact that all this “.410 handgun ammo” is easy to find has allowed me to keep a neat 500 Mossberg in 410 that would have been sold/traded otherwise. I agree the judge is a novelty gun ( and in my opinion way overpriced ), However, the bond arms derringer in .410 .45 LC is in the same category but, less than 1/3 the price ( and you can drive west of Fort Worth and pick them up at the factory ).

Let us not forget about “gauge mate” type adapters for single and double barrel ( to use smaller gauges as well as the what it was designed to shoot )
